DApps/Tokens
Erium wallet supports all Ethereum based (ERC-20) tokens. Some are listed in the wallet by default, others need to be added manually. A step-by-step guide on how to do this:
(Overview/link to add coins to your wallet)
*ERC-20 tokens are powered by the Ethereum blockchain, so you pay network fees in ETH to get them. You must pay tokens to send or exchange.
Note: You need some ETH in your balance to send or exchange ERC-20 tokens. We recommend at least 0.01 ETH.
•Every time you send or exchange ERC-20 tokens, you have to pay network fees in ETH. These charges are also known as GAS or GWEI.
•On the Ethereum blockchain, network fees are billed in GAS. GAS measures the computational power required to process transactions. For miners, this is a measure of transaction value.
•Transactions automatically convert ETH billed as network fees into GAS. The transfer amount does not affect the network fee amount. It's all about the current congestion of the network.
•To replenish your ETH balance, exchange any coin for ETH in the "Exchange" tab. Alternatively, you can send ETH to your Erium wallet address from another platform.
When sending someone an ERC-20 token, there are two things to consider. Network fees are calculated in ETH. Sending tokens to a smart contract may require a higher GAS limit.
To send a token:
Select a token in the "Wallet" tab.
Please enter the amount you wish to transfer.
Paste the receiving address.
Enter the password used to log in to the wallet.
Select Send.
Although all ERC-20 tokens can be stored in the Erium Wallet, not all ERC-20 tokens are supported. Try the Exchange tab to see if you can exchange your tokens on your Erium Wallet. Note that if your token is not listed by default, you may need to add it to your wallet first.
